Off to Con Carolinas!

Last weekend we were at Escape Velocity.  This weekend Garth and I are going to CON CAROLINAS for the first time.  Our convention schedule tends to get busier in the Spring and Summer months, and two shows in two consecutive weekends can be a common occurrence.  It can wreak havoc on our page production, but luckily we’ve been able to keep things rolling without an interruption.

New conventions can be fun, too.  They almost always are.  Meeting new people in new cities at new venues means new experiences for us, and that usually translates into new stories to tell.  We love our usual circuit of shows and the people we see at them, but expanding our travels helps us build new bridges.  I think the business world calls that “networking” or something?  I don’t know.  I’m just a traveling salesman looking forward to meeting new people in a new city.

I’m looking forward to the weekend because Garth and I get to take a rare road trip together.  We usually meet at the convention venue, but this time I’m flying to him a day early so we can travel together to Con Carolinas.  We’ve done this before but it’s a very rare occurrence, so I plan to take full advantage of this opportunity.  If you come see us at Con Carolinas (and we hope you do), be sure to ask Garth what he thought of my road trip soundtrack.

We’re looking forward to seeing you at CON CAROLINAS!
