Return to the In Between.

We posted the conclusion of Issue 19 yesterday, which was Chapter 4 of STAR POWER & THE FINAL JUMP GATE.  Every story is five chapters, so only Chapter 5 remains!  Before we get to this storyline’s final chapter, however, we always take a break between Issues.  Our breaks are normally two weeks long and include six updates of lore entries or in-house advertisements (for our Patreon campaign, convention schedules, or book release announcements).  Sometimes we need to lengthen the in-between Issue break, and this is one of those times.  Between the end of Issue 19 and the beginning of Issue 20, will be a three week lore and commercial break.

Why are we taking slightly longer between Issues?  We have a double-convention weekend coming up, where I will be exhibiting at Boston Comic Con and Garth will be at Otakon.  Convention preparation, travel, and time spent there instead of working on the comic all contribute to delays in our production schedule.  That, and Garth is taking a very well-deserved summer vacation prior to our double-convention weekend, and this three-week break accommodates that.  Seriously, the guy works his fingers off to get these high quality pages uploaded on time.  He deserves to relax a little.

Rest assured that the “commercial break” will not be lengthy.  On Wednesday and Friday of this week there will be updates regarding the reward tiers for our Patreon campaign.  We always feel funny advertising ourselves like this, but that’s a major aspect of being self-employed.  No one does your advertising for you, and when you think you’ve spoken too often about your Patreon, or books, or convention schedule, that’s when you’ve only just begun talking about yourself.  So!  Wednesday and Friday we’ll be pushing the Patreon again, since every little bit of support helps us tremendously.

The following two weeks, and six updates, will be lore entries.  If there’s anything you wanted to know about the Evebians and Vebenians before they started butchering one another, you’ll find out then.
