Times change.

Our convention season is just about over.  Garth will be returning to Anime Weekend Atlanta this month, but I won’t be joining him.  After that, we won’t be hitting the road again until 2015, and even then we’ll be hitting less shows on our annual tour.  There are a couple of reasons for this:  Time spent at conventions is time spent away from the comic, and Garth’s art style requires a lot more time at the drawing board to get each Issue completely ready for digital download.  I will also be a new father by 2015, so weekends spent away at conventions will be time spent away from my family.  Conventions are still important to us, and we absolutely adore meeting you guys face-to-face, but times are changing in the new year.

With that in mind, we’re planning on adding some new incentives to our Star Powered Patreon.  Right now our Patrons get access to behind-the-scenes peeks at Garth’s inks for upcoming pages and previously unseen concept art for various characters.  We’ll be adding a new tier for Patrons to chat with us monthly via a Google Hangout.  It will be like meeting us at a convention, only you don’t have to put pants on!  Actually, some of our readers have come to visit us without pants.  Cosplay gets crazy sometimes.  There may also be Patreon-exclusive comics in the future, done by yours truly.  Fans of my previous webcomic have been asking for some art from me, so perhaps that wish will come true for our Patrons!

There may also be significant news regarding the collected trade of our first storyline, Star Power & The Ninth Worm Hole, next week.  Keep an eye out.
