The Star Power Holiday Special!

We’re getting closer and closer to the conclusion of STAR POWER & THE CHOIR OF DOCTOR HYMN.  It’s been a long, crazy ride and we can’t wait to show you how this ends.  But we’ve got more stories on the horizon, and we’ve even tweaked our update schedule to eliminate the long two-to-three-week break between Issues!  As promised, there won’t be a lengthy break between the conclusion of this storyline and the start of the next one!

Except the “next one” is not a full storyline.  After THE CHOIR OF DOCTOR HYMN concludes, we’re going to do something else we’ve never done before!  We’re going to post a short story, in comic form, for the holidays, and it will be written and drawn by me!  Unlike the title of this blog, it won’t be called “The Star Power Holiday Special” because as funny as it would be to make a Life Day joke, we’re not in the business of getting too deep into pop culture or nerd references.

Why post a short holiday comic and not get started with the first chapter of our next story?  The answer is simple.  I wanted to do it, and Garth agreed to let me do it.  I’ve gotten the itch to draw comics again, and this provides me an opportunity to contribute some art to STAR POWER.  It will be a fun, low-stakes bit of holiday cheer for every member of the cast who makes it out of this storyline in one piece.

The holiday comic will run nine pages (excluding the chapter cover), and once it’s finished we will take our annual holiday break from Christmas to New Year’s, and we’ll return with the start of a brand new full storyline for 2019!

This should be fun!
